All of a sudden when some users go into outlook to open their Exchange
email, they get a logon screen for "username, password, domain"

what brought this about? Ussually users log into the domain - w2k - and
they get authenticated to exchange 2000. Why the login screen now?

What can I bypass this screen?

Thanks.

This is a daily question. Are the passwords on those accounts about to
expire?

Not a chance! Actually, I have these users set for "password never
expires" Furthermore, it hoppens on some workstations regardless of user.
Very frustating.

Anything at all in your event logs?

A change in their profile? This is the expected behavior if the "None"
choice is selected for security.

Change the selection to NTLM.
