Hi,
I have an Edge Server installed in the perimeter network. There is a Edge
Subscription for the server. The message tracking is enabled by default but I
can't see any tracking logs created. Is the tracking in the Edge Server taken
over by the HUB server when you have a Edge Subscription?

- No - Message Tracking logs on Edge Transport servers remain on those
servers. They're not replicated to Hub Transport servers in the
organization.
- (Note, besides SMTP in and out, the only connectivity/access to Edge
Transport servers is outbound EdgeSync replication. Therefore, no file
copying/replication, and no message tracking from Hub to Edge.)

- Did you enable Message Tracking on the Edge Transport server?
- Is the Microsoft Exchange Transport Log Search service enabled and running
on the Edge?

Hi!
Thanks a lot for the answer. The MessageTrackingLogEnabled was set to True
but the service "Microsoft Exchange Transport Log Search" was not started. I
have started the service but can still not see any log file created. Do I
need to restart something else?

Regards,
Ulf
