Krill,
easier question.... Configuring Exchange 5.5 sp3 to use an external LDAP
server as the Global Address List.
Can it be done ?

I do not think so.
What is the problem?

My apologies on the typo.
The problem I am faced with is that we have a PKI of X.509 Digital
Certificates,
MS Outlook and Outlook Express use the personal address books, and have the
caperbility of storing the recipients Digital Certificate
to use to send encrypted e-mail back to them.
I was looking for a way to add the Digital Certificate into the entry for a
member of the Global Address List.
I guess the only way round it, is to configure the client to look at an LDAP
server first....
I hope this explains it a bit more.
BTW, thanks for the help.

Yep. Now it is clear.
And I have no idea how to solve this problem. Sorry.
See if you can get more help in Outlook newsgroup.
