I am running SBS5 with Exchange server 5.5 on cable connection to the
internet and a permanent IP address.

I need to allow a remote client computer to access an exchange mailbox over
the internet, what needs to be done to allow this to happen?
The users NT account and exchange mailbox is setup(I'm not sure of any extra
configuration needed for the internet access), I just need the procedure for
allowing the client to access their mailbox.

Cheers
Jase

One would prefer to use either VPN or OWA for a secure connection, otherwise
this is correct.

Yep. OWA is an option too.
