When we attempt to try to remove the ADC-Global-Names object when going into RAW mode
in Exchange Admin (running E5.5/Sp4); The REMOVE option is grayed out and is not
available for us.

We have also attempted this using the Service acct... still no luck....REMOVE of
ADC-Global-Names is grayed out.
We need to do this, because of our ADC and its configuration with an E2K backbone.

Here's another article that explains how to remove this field.

http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;EN-US;Q319474 no luck.

import/export...no luck...no errors

Any ideas?

Make sure you are connected to a server in the same site as the users you
are trying to change. If that doesn't work, then let me know and I'll send
you a script you can use to try and remove the attribute.

Also, make sure you are logged in as the Service Account for that site.

did that too....no luck

MS Product support is know saying that....that this is ONLY for a 2 way connection
agreement...we have just one. Also, saying that this will work is the ADC does NOT
create contacts..instead used as disabeld accts.
We only want to populate AD with contacts (short term) and route e-mail via E2k --->
Exhange 5.5 (users still on Nt)
