The Microsoft Exchange Information Store service terminated with service-specific error 0 (0x0).

I'm currently running an exchange 2003 sp2 on a Windows 2003 SP1
Domain Controller with Mcafee virus scan 8.00

Its been running fine for about a year. Recently the information store
terminates intermittently with the following error. I can restart the
Microsoft Exchange Information Store service

I've installed Exchange Best Practice analyzer and Exchange
Troubleshooting Assistant v1.0 and there are no critical errors.

Description:
A non-delivery report with a status code of 4.4.6 was generated for
recipient rfc822;l.c...@lowefusion.co.uk (Message-ID
<Kilauea168229-7308...@flonetwork.com>).
Cause: The maximum hop count was exceeded for this message. This
non-delivery report can also be caused if a looping condition exists
between sending and receiving servers that are not in the same Exchange
organization. In this situation, the message bounces back and forth
until the hop count is exceeded. A configuration error in the e-mail
system can also cause the message to bounce between two servers or to
be forwarded between two recipients.
Solution: The maximum hop count is a property set on each virtual
server and you can manually override it. The default maximum hop count
is 15. Also, check for any situations that might cause loops between
servers.

I realize this isn't the exact error you are seeing, but since you mentioned
you are using McAfee virus scan, have you excluded all of the Exchange
directories from scanning?

Hi,

Few days back i am also face this problem every time i was very apset then my
friend gave suggestion to me to use this kernel exchange recovery and beleive
it's very good
i will try this and i am satisfied u can also try.
