I currently have a problem where my users are configuring their inbox
permissions so that the default user is "owner". User awareness is one way
of sorting this - The problem is of course "making them aware". Anyroad, is
there a utility which will display what permissions are set on those
mailboxes. I have looked at the various technet articles about directory
import/export, but these only seem to apply to permissions set by the
administrator. One heading to use is admin-obj for example. I need to run
a task every week perhaps reporting on who has the default permission on any
Exchange folder set to "default owner". Thankyou in advance
Darren
PS : Whats an MVP - Sorry for being ignorant.
If it can be done, I assume you'd need to use CDO or ADSI. You might
check out www.cdolive.com and the
microsoft.public.exchange.applications newsgroups to see if this is
possible. I'm not sure I've seen code to return the permissions on a
mailbox folder.
