Hi All,

I am running Exchange 2007 on a 2003 64 Bit Enterprise server. Both 2003
domain controllers and the Exchange server are fully up to date on windows
security updates. The problem I am experiencing is when I add new objects
or change current objects in the management console there is a good 60
second delay before they show in the console. For example: I added the
first distrubution group, and when I was finished the console showed no
distrubution groups at all. Finally after about 60 seconds of refreshing
the group showed up. I think this has to do with the time it is taking to
modify or create this object in AD and possibly the time it takes to
replicate. Has anyone seen this before? Is this working as intended? Any
ideas?

Thanks,

Dave

It's not unexpected. It could actually be a lot worse.

Is it the replication time between DCs or is it the time that it takes
Exchange to write to AD?

I think you can expect a small delay at every stage of the process.
