Hi,
I'm using Exchange 5.5 with a pop3/imap client such as Outlook
Expresss or Eudora. Everything works fine except that my email header
includes the name & IP of the originating user's workstation in the SMTP

routing info. Is there any way I can get Exchange to strip this off, or
make it less meaningful ?

Any help much appreciated

Use MAPI mail client (like OL in Corp/WG mode)

Try to submit messages by copying them to the shared 'imcdata\pickup'
directory on the mail server. This measure can hide the real properties of
your workstation but requires MS network logon to be established.
