Using Exchange 2003 sp2 I have multiple mail servers.
My public MX records point correctly to my Virus/Spam filter,
If I use IP forwarding internally I can forward the mail to one server, but
I need it to go and check on two servers. So I am using DNS to forward the
mail.
I have created MX records on my local DNS server using priorities of 10
(server1) and 20 (server2). This does not seem to work.
I am open to suggestions.....or good tech articals.

Not sure what you are trying to do.
Can you rephrase?

i have 2 mail serves. Before I had only 1.
I want to have some users on one server and some on the other.
Both servers are behind an Antivirus\Spam filter.

When I had one Mail server I was able to take in my mail through the filter
which act as the public MX record. The mail goes to the filter and is then
forwarded to my exchange server by using the Exchange boxes IP.

Now I have created a second exchange box, and want the mail to be forwarded
to both servers so the server wtih the account would get the mail.
I am trying to use DNS from the Filter to forward the mail to the different
servers.
I have created MX records on the DNS for both exchange servers.
However the mail is not forwarded when this is done.

My expectation is to have two mail servers at the same time with different
mail users. Some will go to server1 and some to server 2.

Is that more clear???
