Dear all,
I am using an NT mail server(MMserver)- Outlook200SP3. Let
me explain my problem.

Whenenver a user send a mail out using SMTP server
address, and the same email made cc to some of the
internal users(post office address).Internaly this mail
received without any problem, but the external recipient
(email user) got this mail showing cc to send to a name
with an SMTP address. How can I solve this issue.
Like - an...@hotmail.com (external user)
Tommy (internal - post office address)
sending user SMTP address(mail.emirates.net.ae)
Now Mr.Anver check this mail from hotmail, he can see a
mail send to To...@emirates.net.ae. Infact this cc send to
internal users and there is no SMTP address.
Pls somybody can help this issue.

There's nothing to solve. Sending a message to an external user via SMTP
requires (IIRC, it's really a best practice and not a requirement but that's
neither here nor there apparently) that all addresses on the To and CC lines
have a SMTP address. Sounds like your mailer is making one up if the
recipient of the CC line doesn't have a SMTP address already assigned.

If you want them to not send with a SMTP address, but still want them on the
same message, put the internal users on the BCC line instead.

Dear Al Mulnick,

Thank you very much for your quick response, but other
than BCC is there any third party tool or any patch
available ?

Best Regards
Anver
