Backup and restore an Exchange Sever 5.5

I would like to extract all data from a production Exchange 5.5 Server
and restore it on a Test enviroment. I would like both servers running on
the same network so I can't use the same NetBIOS name for both servers
(Can't use Disaster Recovery). Is this possible ??

Do I need two independent networks ?
