Hi,
I would like to swap adress book between an exchange server 5.5 and a Lotus
notes server 5.07a
What i would like to do is to export the lotus adress book so he can be
imported in the Exchange Server, and export the Echange adress book so he
can be imported in a Lotus notes adress book.
Does anyone has experience on that and knows what is the best way to do it?

thanks for help,

Rgds,

Voodoo

If you really want to export/import, LDIF is probably the way to go. There is
an ldapsearch.exe search tool that can generate an ldif from from an ldap
directory. In R5 Admin help, look at Importing -> Defined -> Migrating Users
and Mail data -> LDIF -> Adding users as directory entries only.

For interoperability, there is the MS Exchange Lotus Notes Connector that will
synchronize directory entries between the two environments (and move mail if you
like...)

The easiest way is to use the Microsoft Exchange Connector for Lotus Notes.

With out using the vCard agent and exporting via vcard, then import into
Outlook via vcard, then create a CSV file from Outlook to import into
Exchange you would have to use a 3rd party tool

But by far the best is the Notes connector mentioned above, not only will it
keep the directories synched, but you will also be able to transfer messages
between the two systems. If you do this method its highly recommended to use
Exchange 5.5 SP4 and to use Lotus Notes/Domino 5.0.8 - both correct
previously problems with this configuration.

Simple, There is an import/export utility for email addresses in Microsoft
Exchange 5.5 Administrator program. Lotus Notes must have the same.
