Hi there,

I have noticed, that you won't be able to put an exchange server in another
domain than the one, in which it was installed. We only solved the problem
with an new installation of exchange server in the new domain.

Presumably, it would be a lot of effort to make a new installation of
exchange every time you would like to change the domain a computer is part
of.

Are there any workarounds or fixes which help solving this problem?

Regards
Joachim

I really don't view this as a 'problem'. Exchange requires NT domain
authentication and depends on SID's for users. Can't imagine the need to
migrate domains very often.

What you could do is give Exchange it's own domain. Users will have to
authenticate to the exchange domain in order to open Outlook and access
their mailboxes. This domain does not even need trust relationships, just
another set of usernames. Perhaps unneccessary administration, but if
you're changing domains a lot....
