Information Store (1234) First Storage Group: A request to
read from the file C:\Progfile\exchsrvr\mdbdata\priv1.edb
at offset 3687149568 (0x00000000dbc57000) for 32768
(0x00008000) bytes succeeded, but took an abnormally long
time (102 seconds) to be serviced by the OS. In addition,
20 other I/O requests to this file have also taken an
abnormally long time to be serviced since the last message
regarding this problem was posted 107 seconds ago. This
problem is likely due to faulty hardware. Please contact
your hardare vendor for further assistance diagnosing the
problem.
Any ideas what this means and how to resolve? Only seems
to happen in the middle of the night (like 2 or 3 am'ish)

It sounds like there is a hardware problem that is showing up during either
the backup or IS maintance which both run at night.
As a start, one recommendation is to make sure that IS maintance and the
Backup are not running at the same time as they will conflict.
Also, another recommendation is to make sure that your storage solution is
optimized.
