rejected emails

We are getting some of our emails rejected by a couple of
addressees with the following message:

554 5.0.0 Header error

Is this header generated by our exchange 5.5 server and
if so can I amend it please??

Normally the 554 means you've been rejected by the remote host. Either
you've been blocked or the remote host performed a DNS reverse lookup
against your domain and no PTR records were returned and he connection was
rejected. See the articles below.
