Hi

I have setup a Exchange 5.5 server SP 3 on a Win 2000 Advance server. The
installing went fine, but when I tried to access the mailbox using OWA, I
was not able to get into the mail box. The URL display was

http://win2ktest1/exchange/LogonFrm.asp?isnewwindow=0&mailbox=administrator

and the webpage is blank(just white, nothing at all).

Did anyone encounter this problem before? Your advice and help will be
appreciated.

You'll notice that the write paper you cite does not mention Win 2KS. It is
a foolhardy thing to do to run Exchange 5.5 on this setup. Give a call to
PSS, and you will find Microsoft does not support this configuration. One
in ten people at PSS may say otherwise, but that's the official word we got
from Microsoft.

Hi all,
I ran Exchange 5.5 with OWA on W2K S successfully for some time. I had some
problem with a different website, however, so I reinstalled IIS 5.0. I now
cannot get Exchange 5.5 owa to work. I uninstalled (with the intent to
reinstall) and it now says, "you are not running a set of nt fixes requiered
to run OWA". I reinstalled Exchange 5.5 SP3, then tried it again, but to no
avail.

any help is much appreciated.

thanks,
James Ewing

James,
I had the same problem. I wanted to setup a brand new OWA server running
on W2K, but I got the same error. I ended up having to install NT4&(IIS4)
with SP5, then install Exch5.5 sp3 with OWA, and then up grade to W2K.
