I have a small NT network with Exchange 5.5 running. All of the service
packs are up to date. My clients are using Outlook 2000, some are on 2002.
I need to put into place some sort of anti-spam software. However, the
internet emails coming in to the clients are pop3 accounts so they are
picked up by the client software, not the server. What would be my best
approach or method for putting in place antispam software? Should it be
done at the ISP side? The people who handle the pop accounts don't think
they can do anything about it. I just think they don't want to handle it.

Any suggestions or ideas are greatly appreciated.

Frank

POP3 connectors are a great big kludge.

An Exchange-based antivirus tool should catch all viruses that are present
in messages that pass through the Information Store. Look at
http://www.antivirus.com or http://www.sybari.com.
