Hello All,

Thanks up front for any and all help with this question.

I have two Exchange 2003 Servers. I had the first one, and then I added a
secondary one for a different physical location.

Everything is fine and the two servers couldn't be better. Unfortunatley it
seems to take the two servers to sync up completley over night.

I understand that Exchange has a timer that it syncs with the other Exchange
server - but I was wondering if there is a way to monitor it - and ultimatley
force synchronization.

I have searched, tech net, the web, user groups, etc... and all I can find
is about synching Outlook, or mobile devices but never the Exchange Servers
themselves.

So two Exchange 2003 Servers - Geograhically seperated - taking to long to
sync.

Thanks so much.

What are they synchronizing?

Well Maybe Sync'ing isn't the best term.

Say I keep I change permissions on the Exchange properties on one server. IT
takes a considerable amount of time for those permissions to be replicated to
the other server.

Also if I create a New user and place the mailbox on the secondary server -
it takes sometime for that user to get all the information - X.400 Connectors
(Exchange 5.5 servers still exist), SMTP addresses, information store etc..

Thanks for the help.

All of this information is stored in AD. Are the objects being stamped
in your site but not replicating to the GCs in the other site then?
What is the AD replication interval between the sites?
