How can you link the NT login to the Exchange mailbox login?
I have a few PC's that are used by many different users. I want that
user1 logs on to the machine and gets his mailbox. When user2 logs on,
I want him to get his mailbox without changing anything in Outlook.
The system is SBS4.5 with Exhange 5.5 SP3 and Outlook 2000.
How can I do this?

Thanks

Eddy

Setup individual mail profiles on the box they log into, or use roaming NT
profiles.

...and if you use a single domain logon for that box, like a 'kiosk' PC, make sure that in
each Outlook profile's Exchange server service, you set the logon security to "None" so
that the users will be prompted for their ID, password and NT domain name. Otherwise they
won't be able to open their mailboxes unless you've allowed the NT login access to all
mailboxes (definitely not recommended).

Excellent! And how do I do this? I've seen posts about a little
program called newprof that should be run in a logon script, but can't
seem to find it.

Use the Mail applet in Control Panel to create individual mail profiles. For
roaming NT profiles, that's a bigger deal, but do a KB search and there's
some good documentation there.
