Is it possibly to recover a deleted mailbox in Exchange
5.5 without backups? Thanks.

nope...it's possible with Exchange 2000 and higher, but not with 5.5...why
no backups?

Hi Joe,

In Exchange 5.5 this cannot be done without a backup. Unless of course the
user has a local pst file.

Exchange 2000 and 2003 have deleted mailbox retention whereas you could
easily recover a mailbox that was inadvertently deleted.

Though we do not support brick level backups many customers use these and
this should restore the mailbox, if not please see the following article

Hope this helps
