Hi,

my exchangeserver always Display the Event Id 290 error.

A non-delivery report (reason code transfer-failure and diagnostic code Omit
any diagnostic code) is being generated for message. It was originally
destined for (recipient number 1), and was to be redirected to . [MTA
DISP:RESULT 21 136] (12)

Please help on this issus.

Always? Or only on SOME messages? Doe the originator have permission
to send the recipient (or distribution list)?

There are several MS KB articles that describe this sort of problem.
This is one of them:

XADM: The MTA May Sporadically Return Mail with the Transfer-Failure
Reason Code [Q288848]

There are others that detail problems with other causes, but similar
syptoms.

Hi,

sometime the sender can send to the recipient but sometime couldn't.
Don't know why.
