A1 = 34.76
A2 = 56.75
A3 = 12.77
A4 = 88.99
A5 = NO POINT
A6 = 56.55
A7 = 34.44
A8 = NO POINT
A9 = 38.66
A10 = 34.21
A11 = NO POINT
A12 = 56.80
A13 = 99.23
I know how to count the number of occurrences with COUNTIF.......what I want
is the opposite.
I would like cell A15 to count all cells in that range (A1:A13) and report
the number of cells that do not have the vale: NO POINT
Value answer: 10
Thanks in advance

One Way:
Use
=COUNTIF(A1:A7,"*")
This just counts any cells containing text.
But if you want to be specific for "NO POINT"
=COUNTIF(A1:A7,"NO POINT")
It's not case sensitive.
