I entered a text word into a cell and it was automatically
marked as a hyperlink to a webpage because that word is
part of a webpage address linked elswhere. Right clicking
on the cell and clicking on hyperlink just bring us
the 'select webpage'. There is nothing for removeing the
hyperlink. And if you click on the word, the webpage
indcated elsewhere comes up. This is only a part of an E-
mail address and webpage, not the full source.

Please e-mail me with any help. This has never happened
before and I am using this word by itself elsewhere. I am
using MS Office Professional 2000 Excel with WinME on a
system with 512 DDR ram, 1 GB AMD Duron, 40 GB harddrive
storage.

Tom,

If you right click on the hyperlink, the last choice on the
dropdown should be "Remove Hyperlink".
