Is there a way to use a vlookup formula on a pivot table?

Thanks...

Hi,

Could you post a few more details? Do you wish to use the pivot table as the
lookup table or the lookup value?

Thanks,
Matt

Yes. But if you have multiple rows on the category where you are looking up,
then it gets tricky without adding a conversion column first. I've had
success using the offfset function, but it would be easier to help with more
info.

To extract data from a pivot table, you can use the GetPivotData
function. There are instructions and examples in Excel's Help, and here:

The getpivotdata function is exactly what I was looking for.

Thank you for your help.
