My data are arranged so that each row (or column, transposed) consists of a
question, and the data are 1-5 point (strongly agree to strongly disagree)
words (or values). I want a table that has each question in a row and each
of the values in a column. I've worked for 3 hours, no luck. Any help out
there?

Hi

If you are saying the questions are currently in row 1, each question in
a new column, with rows 2 to 6 containing the answers, then mark the
whole set of data, Copy, move to another sheet and place the cursor in
cell A1, Paste Special>Transpose

Thanks, Roger. This isn't quite it, but I'm now using a workaround.
