importing data from Excel worksheet to another worksheet

I need to export financial data from one Excel worksheet created by another
user which has no tables into a differently formatted Excel worksheet,
created by me. (I need to automatically import the new data every month into
my spreadsheet) I've never done this before, and want to avoid cutting and
pasting since it is financial figures. Please help!
