Dear All,

I need your support to tell me how can I change the numbers in excel 2007
from English writing to Arabic numbers, it very important for me and I cant
work because if this issue I tried everything but it didn't work.

Can you not just use an Arabic font for those cells?

if I used the Arabic font it doesn't change the numbers it keeps the numbers
in English

Hi, can someone please advise how I can make excel display Arabic numbers in cells. When I say Arabic numbers, I mean ?....12345

I am using MS Excel 2010. I am able to type Arabic numbers on MS Word 2010 after chnaging some settings (Options > Advanced > show document content > numeral > context. However, this option is not available on Excel.

Hi Ivar.

You could try the custom format [$-2060000]0

That would make 1234567890 look like
١٢٣٤٥٦٧٨٩٠
If that is what you mean

select cell which we want to type arabic newmarals. click right button , select format cell,select alignment, on last of the column we can see 'text direction, . make it 'righ to left'
