DATE FORMAT

as follows: dd.mm.yyy, I have to use a web query which
extract some rates on a given date, the extracted date
have the following format: mm.dd.yyy, is there any
possibility to change this date to mine format, functions
day(), month() do not work properly due to the fact that
when I use them for ex. 02.13.xxxx it returns me an error
(13th month do not exists :-)). An prompt answer will be

Re post a sample of the dates returned by the web query. I suspect that some
or all of the dates being returned are in text form.
If that's the case you can parse your dates with formulas or you can use
Data > Text to Columns.
If some are treated as dates and some as text, then you will need to check
that the dates are actually the correct ones and not misinterpreted day
number ones that happen to fit the <=12 required for month. In that instance
you will need to import in text format and parse.
Alternative is to:
change your Regional Options
Import the data
Check it's OK
re-change your Regional Options
You should close down after changing Regional Options as there have been
some problems if this isn't done.
