Can we add some sort of invisible comment on a cell?

I want to add a comment or alternative text or some hidden value to a cell
where the user might change the value of.

I tried Comment Boxes, but it pops up when the user puts his/her cursor over
the cell.

If anyone knows a way, please let me know. Thanks!

You can change that behavior by Tools/Options/View tab; you have 3 choices
for how to display (or not) comments.
Or, you can place a comment (of sorts) in the cell's formula:
=YourRegularFormula+N("PUT YOUR COMMENTS HERE -- ADDS ZERO TO THE RESULT")
