Does anyone know how to password protect individual
worksheets? I have a workbook with a summary worksheet
and individual worksheets for each sales rep. I would
like to password protect the rep's worksheets so that only
they have access to their figures.

Thank you,
Hope

Hi
you could hide these sheets and use 'Tools - Protection - Protect
workbook' together with a password. But be aware that this kind of
protection is quite weak

Hi,

Thank you for your quick response. I have already password
protected the workbook so that only I can make changes to
it (it is read only to anyone without the password). I
also wanted to password protect individual worksheets
(each with their own password). If I just hide these
sheets, any one of the reps would be able to unhide any or
all.

Thank you
Hope

Hi
for this I would create a macro which could be called via a toolbar
icon and which would ask for a password and the specific sheet. Note:
this kind of protection ist still very weak
