adding positive numbers in a column

hi all

i'm using excel 2002

i have a really long column with mainly positive numbers, but a few
negitive numbers

is there a way to add only the positive numbers in the column and
ignor the negitive numbers?

If your numbers are in column A,

=SUMIF(A:A,">0")
