Excel 2009 problem with query

I have a query I use to read data from a foxpro database and it provides
data for a pivot table. This was originally written for an excel 2003
workbook and worked fine - I could update and amend the parameters when
required. But we are now using excel 2007. I can retrieve data Ok with the
original defintion but if I edit the query or change the parameters it
always returns "Reference Not Valid" and won't update the query. Am I doing
something wrong?
