Registry setting to fix HTML Help window

I've asked this question three times in the past. All three times I was
given an effective solution. All three times, I used the solution and then
forgot about it. Now I'm back for a fourth time. I PROMISE this time I will
save a copy of the reply for future reference!
The HTML help that comes with Office 2000 is helpful and more intuitive than
the old way, but it seems to have a flaw in that it does not know how to
activate and resize properly. It also disturbs the window state of the other
applications that are open. There is a registry setting that will fix this
problem. It completely corrects the problem, causing the HTML Help window to
act normal like all of the other applications do. However, I seem to be
always getting new computers and having computers ghosted, etc., and wind up
back where I started. (Side note: Why did Microsoft drop the ball on this?
It's obviously a mistake. I don't think they intended for the help window to
act so screwy! I hope they fix it in Office 10)
Anyway.. I said all of that to say this: Does anyone know of the reg entry
that will solve this problem? The solution I got last time had the .reg
extension. I just clicked on it and it made the changes. But I could also
manually type in the changes if the instructions are explicit enough.
Extra credit: I know I'm supposed to back up my registry every time I start
fiddling with it, but I never do. Since I'm probably going to get bit one of
these days, just how do you back up the registry?

The registry key is
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\9.0\Common\HelpViewer
If there is a value named IsFloating, give it a value of 1. If there is not,
create a DWORD value in this key named IsFloating and give it a value of 1.
