How do you count the number of cells with a fill color of green in a range of
cells?

You would have to create some VBA code. See here for an explanation:

Excel prior to 2007 version cannot count by color.

Ok, I've been looking all over for this. I DO have excel 2007. And I've
seen lots of articles saying that it can do count by color. But I
haven't found anywhere explaining how to do that if you have excel
2007. And obvioiusly, excel help isn't helping...

Can someone give me the function name to lookup?
