Hello

I am using MAC 10.5.5 and excel.

I have a column of names first name and last name and need to separate them
into 2 columns. I know how to merge 2 columns but not how to separate them?

Can you advise?

Many Thanks

Nicky

Hi,

What you need is the Data, Text to Columns command. Right now I'm on a PC
so I can't check this, so you may have to look into the Help system to find
where its located. The command launches a wizard and on the first screen you
choose delimited, and click Next. On the second screen you choose the
delimiter, between names its usually a space. Click Next, and then Finish.
