I am searching for the setting in Excel 2004 for Mac that automatically
creates hyperlinks for URLs and email addresses. I want to turn this setting
OFF.

I found this thread related to word and excel elsewhere on the MS discussion
groups:
http://www.microsoft.com/communities/newsgroups/en-us/default.aspx?dg=microsoft.public.word.docmanagement&tid=5bc7df8e-7a13-4fea-ae2a-ba07c2f35eea&cat=&lang=&cr=&sloc=&m=1&p=1
But the solution posted there does not work on Macs.

Additionally, the solution to unlink any hyperlink (or any other field) with
Ctrl+Shift+F9, does not seem to work on a Mac either.

Hi,

I see no one has responded to this, I don't have a mac in front of me but
the feature is under the Tools, AutoCorrect Options, AutoFormat As You Type
tab on the pc.

So on the mac I would check the help system for any of the keywords above.
