Automatic Updates Repeating ???

MS Automatic Updates, seems to me, is repeating [ 4 Updates ] at every shutdown, for about a week now. Is this just a coincidence or is there a bug, corruption, etc. in my computer ?
A year ago, I saw a similar reoccurrence, probably for about a month, and then my system had a major crash [ loads of dust in the tower plus viruses, etc. ].
