Format the x-axis (double-click it or click on it and then select Format
| Selected axis...) and in the Scale tab set the major unit to 5 days

Thanks for your quick responce.
Unfortunately, I cannot find "Major Unit" in the Scale Tab, Category (X)
axis scale. The only options are
"Value (Y) crosses at category number:",
checkbox of "Categories in reverse order,
checkbox of "Value (Y) axis crosses at maximum category"
The following are grey'd out:
"Number of categories between tick-mark labels:"
"Number of categories between tick marks:"
checkbox "Value(Y)axis crosses between categories"
Any Ideas?
Thanks, Christopher

This is a line chart you've made. You can change the entry for Number
of Categories between tick-mark labels (enter 5 or whatever), or you can
change your chart into a scatter chart, and change the major unit scale
as Tushar suggested.

Currently my labels were made from the StockName and Date, which gave me all
my problems. When I changed it to just the Date, I have all the options
that I want for the xaxis. It must get confused when the labels are in two
columns.
Thanks to all for your help.

I'm glad we got that resolved since I've been struggling with possible
causes. Didn't think of a combination as the cause!
