hello everyone,
I'm quite desperately looking for a program that can create iso-line charts
(like the one that come with weather-reports) from excel-sheets?
Does anyone know the solution???

Thanks VERY much in advance!

Hi Pieter,

If you are using Excel97, you can do this with
the Surface - Contour chart type.

Thanks Ed,
I looked for a long time for this type of chart, couldn't find it, and now
it appears to be in Excel itself!
I still have a problem with it: I don't wont the X-axis to be a CATEGORY
axis!
I've got some data points at irregular distances that have to be displayed
in a correct scale...is this also possible?

Thanks a lot!
Pieter

Most high end graphing packages will handle iso-lines (contours) though you
will need a fairly deep pocket.

Surfer from Golden software is excellent for this type of work (sorry don't
know the URL) and was greated for geographical/geological problems.
Sigma Plot from SPSS also works well http://www.spss.com

both talk to Excel

Hope this helps
