Does anybody know of a way to access and use chart line
markers (to format a data series) that are not installed
in the Basic Shapes with Excel?

Only nine markers are available in the Custom Marker Style
list. I am currently using a line and a triangle marker
to show a low limit value on one series and would like to
use another line and an inverted triangle marker to show
the high limit value on another series. The inverted
triangle is an option in AutoShapes, Flowchart but is not
included in Basic Shapes.

Same question...
Is there a way to include the inverted triangle in the
basic shapes options?

Any help is appreciated.

You can use Autoshapes to create a variety of markers.

1. Draw a shape on the worksheet
2. Colour and size the shape as desired
3. Copy the shape
4. Select the series in the chart
5. Paste the shape onto the series, and it will become a marker.
