Hi,

I know that the resizing of pie charts has been a topic of discussion
for some time now, but i couldn't find anything on my problem. I'm
interested in resizing the actual chart itself (the plot area). I just
don't like the white space between the actual chart and the chart
area. Is it possible to manually resize the pie chart (somehow?),
because when I drag the border of the pie it splits, which is not what
I want.

Your help appreciated.

Elijah.

1. From the dropdown list in the Chart menu, choose Plot Area
2. A square border will appear around the pie.
3. Point to one of the handles (black squares) in a corner of the Plot Area.
4. Drag out to enlarge the Plot Area

But, you'll discover that a pie chart's plot area must always be a square,
rectangle not allowed. Therefore, to make the plot area fill the chart area
and decrease the white space, you'll need to make the chart itself a square.

You might want to consider making the chart area transparent, with no
border. That way, the extra white space isn't as apparent.
