Excel cannot make 3d scatter charts, only 'Line" charts in which the values
on the 3 axes are categories not true numeric values
Add-ins (SigmaPlot, for example) can be used to get what you want

You can use formula to calculate 3d position for plotting in 2d.

Dear Herbert,

The result you produced is very impressive. I tried to use it in my data, but it was impossible to find the way to depict "balls" instead of "bars". Could you please explain me the way you did it?
Moreover, is there any way in Pivot Tables to put labels in the balls, or at least change colour in them?
