How to fix this broken mp3 file?

Hi,
I've downloaded this (supposedly) mp3 file (http://kraken.it.helsinki.fi/ramgen/Content1/HY/Valt/kvali/kvali5.mp3?start=08:44), but it only plays with VLC, not any other music player, thus I think it is broken in some way.
Is there a way to repair the file to get it to e.g. iTunes?
