Crystal Reports 4.6 no puede acceder a bases de datos Access 2000

Hola foro!

Esta pregunta ya la habia planteado anteriormente en este foro. Necesito generar algunos reportes en base a una base de datos creada en Access 2000 y Crystal Reports 4.6 no tienes los drivers para accesarla.

Alguien del foro me dijo que buscara en la web del Crystal Reports y allí encotraría un parche para solucionar este problema, y asi es, lo encontre pero solo es para Crystal Reports 7.0.

 

Mi pregunta es: ¿Mi unica solucion es actualizarme a CR 7.0 o existe alguna forma de poner a trabajar mi viejo CR4.6 con Access 2000?

Synopsis

A Microsoft Access 97 database connected to through a Microsoft Visual Basic application using the Crystal Reports ActiveX Control (Crystl32.ocx) version 4.6. After the database is converted to Microsoft Access 2000 the following errors are received:

Error messages 20535 and 20534
Error detected by database DLL
Database DLL is corrupt
Incorrect session parameters

Solution

The free bundle of Crystal Reports 4.6 (bundled with Visual Basic 5 and 6) was created in 1996, long before Access 2000. If you need to report from an Access 2000 database you will need to upgrade to Crystal Reports version 7 Maintenance Release 1 or later. These versions ship with the Crystal Microsoft Access drivers compatible with Access 2000. The Crystal Microsoft Access drivers are the P2bdao.dll, P2irdao.dll and P2ctdao.dll.

If you are using Crystal Reports version 7 (pre Maintenance Release 1) the Crystal Microsoft Access drivers for Microsoft Access 2000 are available at our website:

To download these files:

1. Go to the web site www.crystaldecisions.com
2. Click 'Crystal Care Support'
3. Click 'Download Files and Updates'
4. Type access2000drivers.zip in the 'Or, enter file name here' box and click 'Go'
5. Click the item under 'File Title' to download

For information on how to obtain Crystal Reports 7 Maintenance Release 1 (MR1), go to the Crystal Decisions Support site at:

and search for the file mr1.htm

te mando los 3 archivos que necesitas, a mi me funcionaron en varias versiones en que los probe, 4.6 6, 7, 8.
