Problems installing Encarta 2000

When attempting to install Encarta 2000 the initial setup screen is
displayed quickly followed by the following error message

Kallisti caused an invalid page fault in module KALLISTI.EXE at
0137:0042439d.
The same message appears when trying to load the Atlas and the Dictionary.
I have searched my hard disk but can find no reference to files called
"kallisti"
Can anyone help?

I have the same problem, but Kallisti.exe is not on your HD. It's on the
encarta CD Rom and it appears to be used by setup.exe to install the
program. I thought I was the only one with this problem (does the same
thing for a Win2k install as well as win98se). I don't have a solution but
now u know you ain't alone. If I come up with an answer, I'll post it here.

Here's the answer guys: Go to Microsoft's site and download Crow.exe. Pop
the encarta cd in your drive and when it starts to autorun (before you press
continue) run the crow.exe file. Then continue installation and everythings
a-OK. Looks like the CD manufacturers f--ed up some files on the cd rom.
Here's the link to Microsoft's site to download that crow file:
