When attempting to install Encarta 2009, I get the following error message
at the beginning of the installation process: "A file that is required
canot be installed because the cabinet file
Finddlx.cab has an invalid digital signature. This may indicate that the
cabinet file is corrupt". At this point the installation stops. I tried
seval time to no avail, including in Safe Mode. I searched the MS Knowledge
Base with no success. I would greatly appreciate any help or suggestions.

Regards,
Bill

I am facing the same problem. I have already spent a lot of money in buying
the software, now it's useless unless it installs.

Your CD is damaged. Ask Microsoft a new CD, or find a copy online.
You have bought a boxed copy, there is no reason why you cannot download a
copy on the net, even those said "illegal" or "pirated", but precautions must
be taken not to take bad copies (containing viruses).
