saving on screen data to comma delimetted text file

I designed a small database application in VS2013 using vb. I want to save the on screen data that gets retrieved from the sql database to a comma delimited text file. I would also like to automatically overwrite the previous file created without asking me for confirmation before doing so.

Id this possible and if so would someone please be so kind as to give me a code example of how to do so.
