Mcafee version 8 causes DotNet MsgBox not to show words on it and clientSMTP problem- any ideas

We just upgraded to Mcafee version 8 virus scan and is causing some
problems for DotNet.
I noticed that with virus protection the MessageBox ok and cancel button
have no words on it.
Also, cannot send an SMTP e-mail out. I am getting An established
connection was aborted by the software in your host machine.

Anybody had the same problem and how was being fixed?

You need to install (at a minimum) Patch 4 for McAfee 8 to fix it.

Or disable Buffer Overrun Protection in McAfee.

Personally, I have installed Patch 9 from McAfee and that has solved it.

You need patch 5 or higher.
