Same Activex for both 32 and 64 bit?

Hope somebody is still here.
If anybody is here, is it possible to design 1 Activex control that will function in both 32 and 64 bit?
Reason I ask is I am working with a single Activex control that allegedly can be compiled and run in either 32 or 64 bit.
My very limited understanding of Activex controls tells me that 2 controls (1 for 32, the other for 64) are required.

I found out that this is possible if the same CLSID is used in both 32 bit and 64 bit.
